What you'll do
- Oversee the daily operations of network systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in a military setting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues, minimizing downtime and enhancing operational efficiency.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in network operations or a similar role, preferably within a military or defense environment.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, and others relevant to military communications.
- Proven experience with network monitoring tools and systems, such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or similar software.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required by military regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to support mission requirements.
Nice to have
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ to demonstrate expertise in networking.
- Experience with cloud-based networking solutions and virtualization technologies.
- Knowledge of military communication systems and protocols, enhancing operational understanding.
