What you'll do
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to safeguard Bamboohr' assets and personnel.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services to enhance security measures and response protocols.
- Train and educate staff on security awareness and emergency response procedures to ensure preparedness in various situations.
- Monitor and analyze security incidents, preparing detailed reports to inform management and improve future practices.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.
- Coordinate security personnel schedules and manage their performance to ensure effective coverage of all facilities.
- Respond promptly to security breaches or incidents, conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Liaise with external security vendors and service providers to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to security and safety.
- Assist in the development of emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure staff readiness in case of an incident.
- Prepare and present security-related training sessions and workshops for employees to enhance their understanding of security protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in security coordination or a similar role, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of security systems, risk assessment methodologies, and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across various teams.
- Proven ability to analyze complex situations and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to security and safety.
- Proficient in the use of security technology and software, including surveillance systems and incident reporting tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed for site assessments and training sessions.
