Product CEO / Venture Studio Director
Job description
About the role
This role is defined by ownership, not oversight. You will architect and launch a portfolio of ventures inside the Human Agency studio, treating each as a separate company with its own vision and metrics. You will set the standard for how these ventures are evaluated, funded, and ultimately scaled across the entire organization. You will run the weekly studio syncs, becoming the primary point of accountability for every team and initiative. You will sell the vision to partners, customers, and investors with equal conviction and close deals that move the needle. You will deploy AI and agents not as a feature, but as the core infrastructure that powers every product you ship. You will craft the rules and frameworks that determine which ideas get funded, measured, and prioritized across the studio. If this proposition excites you, we invite you to continue reading and prove you can build under uncertainty.
Key facts
What you'll do
Establish and operate your own venture from concept to initial traction within the Human Agency studio environment.
Define the evaluation criteria, funding gates, and scaling framework that governs how all ventures are assessed and resourced.
Lead the weekly studio syncs, owning the narrative, the priorities, and the accountability for every active initiative.
Champion the commercial viability of each venture by selling the vision to internal partners, external customers, and potential investors.
Embed AI and intelligent agents into the foundation of your products, treating them as core infrastructure rather than optional enhancements.
Design and maintain the studio-level ruleset that dictates how ideas are funded, measured, and prioritized based on performance signals.
Identify new opportunity spaces and validate them through rapid experimentation, customer interviews, and real-world usage data.
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for your ventures, from discovery and scoping through delivery and iteration in production.
Build and nurture a high-performing, cross-functional team that operates with the speed and clarity required for startup-style execution.
Translate complex technical and strategic concepts into clear narratives that align stakeholders and unlock resources for your ventures.
Continuously review venture performance against key outcomes, making difficult decisions to pivot, scale, or sunset initiatives as needed.
Act as the primary liaison between the studio and the broader organization, ensuring venture objectives are integrated with company goals.
Champion a culture of experimentation, responsible innovation, and rigorous product thinking across all Human Agency efforts.
Represent Human Agency in external forums, partnerships, and investor conversations to elevate the studio's reputation and reach.
Drive the adoption of AI-native practices and tooling, ensuring our methods remain at the leading edge of responsible and scalable technology.
Requirements
You have a documented history of founding, leading, or serving as a product leader at companies where real products were shipped and outcomes were measured.
You possess proven sales ability, demonstrated by your capacity to persuade stakeholders, close deals, and secure commitment in complex environments.
You are an AI-native builder with direct experience creating products powered by modern AI systems and agents, not merely a user of these tools.
You operate effectively in high-ambiguity situations, comfortable making decisions when the path forward is unclear from "what to build" to "what is on fire."
You reject unnecessary bureaucracy, favoring action, rapid building, shipping, and iteration in tight feedback loops.
You hold yourself to the highest standards of accountability, integrity, and craftsmanship in every decision you make.
You understand that at Human Agency, our clients' missions, products, and bottom lines are treated as sacred commitments.
You embrace the principle that the best ideas win here, regardless of origin, because clients trust us to deliver the strongest outcomes consistently.
Nice to have

A deep familiarity with Human Agency's work, culture, and approach to integrating AI into product and strategy.
