Sales Enablement Lead
Job description
About the role
You are the first dedicated Sales Enablement hire at Higharc, owning the end-to-end enablement function for Sales, Solution Engineering, and Marketing. This role is a team-of-one where you will establish the content, training, and systems that allow our teams to close more deals, faster, with fewer resources. You will spend your initial days uncovering the specific friction that slows our win rate and solving those issues directly and tactically. Success in the first 90 days will be measured by sharper team focus and a reduction in self-inflicted losses rather than a completed playbook. You will act as the critical connective tissue between Product & Engineering and go-to-market, translating every product release into a GTM-ready story, asset, and trained team while owning the feedback loop that informs the product roadmap.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Run focused discovery across Solution Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to identify the friction that slows win rate and solve it through immediate, tactical actions.
- Build pre- and post-sales content, messaging, and objection handling that remains credible and effective in front of homebuilders and strategic partners.
- Own New Product Introduction end to end, coordinating with Product Marketing and Product Management to move assets and training from concept to active field usage.
- Translate every product release into a GTM-ready narrative, a usable asset, and a trained, certified team that can execute the new motion.
- Quantify and route customer and prospect feedback so the voice of the field reaches the engineers and builders responsible for the product.
- Stand up a scalable enablement function from zero, prioritizing immediate outputs while simultaneously building the systems and automation that outlast any single rep or release.
- Remove legacy enablement scope that no longer serves our current motion and replace it with repeatable processes integrated into the GTM engine.
- Become an expert in US and Canadian residential homebuilding or achieve fluency rapidly if that background is not yet part of your experience.
- Drive consensus across cross-functional stakeholders using data, prototypes, and persuasion instead of positional authority.
- Ship practical enablement solutions quickly while also constructing the durable processes and playbooks that support long-term scale.
Requirements
- You possess a track record of owning GTM enablement, process, or strategy within a SaaS environment, with at least five years of direct responsibility in similar scope.
- You have direct experience in the US residential homebuilding industry or a proven ability to become deeply fluent in a complex, regulated industry in a short period.
- You have a history of supporting SaaS GTM teams through periods of significant scale, managing increased deal volume and complexity without degradation in quality.
- You are a hands-on builder by nature, comfortable alternating between leading programs and returning to individual contributor work when the situation demands it.
- You can drive alignment and consensus across product, engineering, and marketing using data, prototypes, and persuasion rather than formal authority.
- You are comfortable designing scalable, maintainable processes while simultaneously delivering tactical enablement assets where they are needed most.
- You thrive in a fast-moving, pre-IPO startup environment where ambiguity is high and the ability to ship solutions quickly is valued as much as thoughtful design.
- You are a self-starter who excels when given broad ownership and minimal structure, taking initiative to define what needs to be done and how it will be accomplished.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in Platform-as-a-Service or consumption-based revenue models, including pricing and packaging familiarity.
