Key facts
What you'll do
- Source and engage physicians through proactive outreach, networking, and deep research to build a robust pipeline.
- Build and grow a book of business using a consultative sales approach, with telephone engagement as a primary driver of business growth and relationship development.
- Execute high-volume outbound activity, including cold calling, to consistently fill the top of the sales funnel and identify new opportunities.
- Conduct consultative conversations to uncover physician needs, motivations, and career goals to ensure precise opportunity matching.
- Match physicians to locum tenens opportunities that are meticulously aligned with client needs and operational requirements.
- Maintain and grow relationships through ongoing outreach, ensuring retention and repeat business from both candidates and clients.
- Partner with internal teams on licensing, credentialing, and compliance to ensure a seamless and legally sound hiring process.
- Deliver a high-touch candidate experience while managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations with professionalism.
- Leverage data and market insights to refine strategies, improve targeting, and increase conversion rates over time.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing market intelligence and solutions that address their specific staffing challenges.
Training & Development
All new consultants complete a 6-week, award-winning training program designed to build a strong foundation for long-term success and mastery of the industry.
During training, you will immerse yourself in the locum tenens staffing model and healthcare market to develop a comprehensive understanding of the business. You will craft sourcing and recruiting strategies for physician talent that are practical and effective in real-world scenarios. The program will refine your consultative sales and negotiation skills through role-playing and real-client interactions. You will gain hands-on exposure to credentialing, compliance, and operations to ensure you can navigate the full lifecycle of a placement. The training will help you build pipeline management and call structure skills that are essential for consistent performance. You will establish daily habits and routines that drive productivity, discipline, and sustained results from day one.
You'll be supported by Sales Enablement and leadership through hands-on coaching that is tailored to your development needs. Weekly benchmarks will provide clear visibility into your progress and areas for improvement. Continuous feedback will ensure you are always aligned with team standards and company expectations.
