The Associate Director, Revenue Operations will manage and mentor a team of Revenue Operations Solution Engineers, providing leadership, coaching, and strategic direction for high-performing client engagements. This senior, client-facing role requires deep expertise across Salesforce, marketing automation, and HubSpot to guide complex technical and strategic initiatives. You will serve as an escalation point for challenging client and technical issues while maintaining a hands-on focus on architecture, audits, and implementation details. The ideal candidate balances team leadership with the ability to dive into Salesforce and marketing automation environments to solve difficult problems. You will translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for both executive and technical stakeholders.

What you'll do
- Manage and mentor a team of Revenue Operations Solution Engineers, including workload management, prioritization, coaching, and performance support.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex client and technical challenges, ensuring timely and high-quality resolutions.
- Own or oversee strategic client relationships, driving strong communication, delivery quality, and client satisfaction.
- Lead and support Salesforce, HubSpot, and marketing automation audits, implementations, integrations, and optimization projects from scoping to execution.
- Provide hands-on expertise across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot, and HubSpot Marketing Hub to configure and optimize solutions.
- Design and advise on lifecycle architecture, lead management, routing, CRM/MAP integrations, attribution models, reporting, and data governance.
- Translate intricate technical and analytical findings into clear, executive-level recommendations without sacrificing technical accuracy.
- Review strategist work for technical accuracy and strategic quality, ensuring alignment with best practices and client objectives before delivery.
- Partner with Account Directors and internal leadership to identify expansion and cross-sell opportunities that enhance client value.
- Support scoping, solution design, and new business conversations for RevOps opportunities, ensuring proposals are both compelling and feasible.
- Develop repeatable processes, documentation, playbooks, and technical standards that enable the Revenue Operations practice to scale efficiently.
- Maintain visibility into project health, team capacity, utilization rates, and delivery risks to proactively manage timelines and expectations.
Requirements
Must Haves
- 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Marketing Operations, CRM consulting, marketing automation, or a closely related discipline with demonstrable impact.
- 1-2+ years of direct people management or formal team leadership experience, with evidence of developing and supporting team members.
- Active Salesforce Administrator Certification that is current and verifiable.
- Strong hands-on Salesforce Sales Cloud administration and implementation experience, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
- Deep experience with Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot covering setup, automation, segmentation, and best practices.
- Pardot/Account Engagement certification strongly preferred; or at least 2-3 years of hands-on Pardot implementation and administration experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub, including automation, lifecycle management, data architecture, integrations, and reporting.
- Experience leading complex CRM and marketing automation implementations, audits, migrations, or optimization initiatives in production environments.
- Strong understanding of lead lifecycle management, lead routing, attribution models, CRM/MAP integrations, automation workflows, and data governance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead senior-level client conversations, presenting recommendations and managing difficult discussions with professionalism.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex topics for diverse audiences.
- Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical execution, maintaining quality and depth in demanding situations.
Nice to have
- Previous agency experience strongly preferred; consulting or professional services experience is also highly relevant.
- Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot certification to validate advanced Pardot expertise.
- Additional Salesforce certifications to demonstrate breadth across the platform.
- HubSpot certifications that confirm deep knowledge of Marketing Hub and related tools.
- Experience working with regulated industries or complex B2B sales cycles to understand unique compliance and alignment needs.
- Familiarity with data warehouse patterns, analytics platforms, and reporting layers that integrate with CRM systems.
- Exposure to privacy and data governance considerations in marketing technology and customer data management.
