The Global Benefits and Leaves Analyst will own the end-to-end administration and continuous improvement of employee benefits and leave programs for a rapidly scaling global workforce. This role serves as the primary Tier 1 point of contact for benefits inquiries across all regions, including the US, ensuring employees receive timely and accurate guidance. You will manage day-to-day support while partnering closely with People Operations, Payroll, and external brokers to build operational rigor into a function that touches every employee. A key part of this position involves coordinating leave-of-absence processes and benefits administration across EMEA and APAC to maintain compliance and program integrity. You will analyze data, reconcile invoices, and document processes to scale benefits as Harvey expands into new markets. What you'll do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Tier 1 global benefits inquiries across all regions, including the US, with a responsive, service-oriented approach.
- Administer and support benefits programs and vendor relationships across EMEA and APAC, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with Harvey's total rewards philosophy.
- Coordinate leave-of-absence processes end-to-end, including statutory and company-provided leaves, across multiple jurisdictions.
- Partner with Payroll and external brokers to ensure accurate benefits enrollment, changes, and offboarding workflows.
- Analyze benefits utilization data and employee queries to identify trends and propose process improvements.
- Partner with Benefit Program Managers on open enrollment execution, new-country benefit launches, and drafting employee communications.
- Track, process, and reconcile benefits-related invoices from vendors and brokers.
- Develop, maintain, and update internal benefits documentation, employee FAQs, and standard operating procedures as programs scale.
- Coordinate vendor onboarding, administrative PO creation, and contract workflows with guidance from Finance and Legal.
- Support the implementation and optimization of benefits programs specific to EMEA and APAC regions.
- Monitor regulatory changes affecting benefits and leave policies to ensure ongoing compliance and risk mitigation.
- Act as a cross-functional liaison to resolve employee issues related to benefits access, coverage, and claims.
- Maintain accurate records of all benefits transactions and leave adjustments in relevant systems.
- Provide detailed reporting on benefits metrics to support strategic workforce planning.
- Collaborate with global teams to standardize benefits processes while respecting regional requirements.
- Escalate complex cases to Benefits Program Managers and assist in root cause analysis for systemic issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the employee experience across the benefits lifecycle.
- Support special projects related to benefits system enhancements and data integrity initiatives.
- Assist in managing relationships with external brokers and vendors to ensure service level adherence.
- Participate in periodic audits related to benefits administration and leave tracking.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in benefits administration, leave management, or a related HR operations role, ideally within a global or multi-country environment.
- Working knowledge of EMEA and or APAC benefits structures, statutory requirements, and leave entitlements.
- Excellent communication and service orientation, with a track record of delivering responsive, empathetic employee support.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms such as Workday, HR ticketing or case management systems such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, Jira, or Workday Help, and benefits administration tools.
- Experience or exposure to benefits vendor or broker management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret benefits data and produce actionable insights.
- Ability to manage day-to-day workflows independently while knowing when to seek guidance or escalate complex issues.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including functions like vlookups and pivot tables, for basic data analysis and invoice reconciliation.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in processing benefits changes and leave records.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive employee information with care.
- Willingness to follow established procedures and adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Capacity to work collaboratively within a cross-functional, remote-first culture.
