About the role
In the position of Regional Sales Lead at Halter, you will spearhead a team of Territory Managers dedicated to innovating livestock management across the United States. This role is highly interactive, requiring you to spend significant time in the field, coaching team members, engaging with customers, and addressing challenges that may hinder success.

What you'll do
- Guide, mentor, and develop Territory Managers through regular fieldwork, continuous feedback, and hands-on sales training to enhance their skills and performance.
- Drive regional revenue by ensuring consistent activity levels, supporting both new sales initiatives and account growth, while helping team members achieve their targets.
- Maintain high standards for Salesforce usage and forecasting, reviewing pipelines weekly to ensure data accuracy and providing support for deal structuring and escalations.
- Act as the regional representative by sharing customer insights, product feedback, and operational challenges with the Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer teams as well as upper management.
- Adapt national strategies into actionable regional plans, conduct regular team meetings, and collaborate closely with U.S. commercial leadership on performance metrics and priorities.
- Recruit and nurture top talent, contributing to the expansion of the Territory Manager team as Halter continues to grow in the U.S.
Requirements
- Proven experience in frontline sales leadership, particularly in fast-paced or high-growth settings, with a history of coaching sales representatives to enhance their performance.
- A hands-on approach with a willingness to spend a majority of your time traveling, visiting customers, and demonstrating best practices while staying attuned to customer needs.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies, including consultative and challenger sales models, with the capability to coach Territory Managers effectively.
- Solid operational discipline in managing CRM systems, pipeline oversight, and forecasting accuracy, particularly in environments that combine hardware and software.
- A leadership style grounded in clarity, accountability, empathy, and support, fostering a strong team culture while setting high expectations.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments, demonstrating adaptability and resourcefulness as you establish systems and processes in a growing business.
