Introduction to GTI and the Role
GTI operates as a dedicated contract manufacturing partner, serving clients across renewable energy, power generation, infrastructure, and industrial systems. The company specializes in the fabrication of custom-designed enclosures and skids, performing all mechanical and electrical integration internally to deliver complete, turn-key products. This operational model demands teams capable of high-speed adaptation, precision execution, and continuous responsiveness. The core values driving this environment are Safety, Quality, Customer Obsession, Speed, and Agility.
The HR Coordinator position is integral to maintaining this pace and precision. You will serve as the central communication node for teams responsible for building complex, custom enclosures. Success in this role requires the ability to manage concurrent prototype and production schedules while meticulously monitoring engineering changes. The primary objective is to ensure all projects remain aligned with strict customer expectations, particularly within the demanding energy and infrastructure sectors. Coordinating the physical builds is another key duty; this includes scheduling the necessary machinery and assigning specific tasks to technical staff to optimize workflow. During the assembly phase, you will test electrical connections and verify mechanical fits to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Quality assurance extends to the final stages of production. You will review finished units against the original engineering drawings, identifying and correcting any discrepancies before units are cleared for release. Logistics and shipping preparation are also central, requiring you to prepare shipping materials and confirm load plans for the transportation of heavy equipment. also, you will act as a liaison, updating partner teams on project status and actively collecting feedback to drive continuous process improvements. A crucial administrative task involves tracking all parts used in fabrication and meticulously recording any substitutions made during the manufacturing process.
Requirements and Professional Standards
To excel in this position, you must bring a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or a closely related coordination role. This background should include direct work with metal enclosures and wiring systems within industrial settings. A strong understanding of technical drawings and the ability to follow complex process instructions are non-negotiable requirements.
Proficiency with computers is essential, as you will utilize various software for documentation and communication throughout every shift. The role involves physical demands, requiring the ability to lift up to fifty pounds and navigate production areas safely. Given the project-driven nature of contract manufacturing, you must remain comfortable working under tight schedules and shifting priorities. Above all, an unwavering commitment to safety rules and quality expectations must be maintained every day.
Preferred Qualifications and Tools
