The organization is currently recruiting an Electrical Engineer to focus on the design and development of electrical systems for modular infrastructure initiatives. In this capacity, the individual will be responsible for creating electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, wiring documentation, and production-ready designs. The work encompasses Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Generator Systems (GenSets), Modular Data Centers, industrial skids, and other tailored engineered solutions. The position may involve travel up to 10 percent. The role is based in Tempe, Arizona, and operates on a full-time basis with an annual compensation package of $100,000.
Position Responsibilities
The selected candidate will own the electrical definition for modular infrastructure, converting ambiguous requirements into detailed schematics and documentation that facilitate physical hardware production. Designs must consistently meet standards for safety, clarity, and integration while progressing from initial concepts to finalized production files. Electrical solutions must be developed in alignment with mechanical, firmware, and operational requirements through coordinated collaboration with other departments.
Specific duties include drafting schematics and wiring diagrams that define power paths, protection mechanisms, and control strategies for data modules and enclosures. The engineer will create one-line diagrams and panel schedules that clearly articulate energy flow for generation, storage, and distribution systems. Design files and component libraries will be organized to ensure revision traceability and to provide production teams with clear implementation guidance.
Additional responsibilities involve guiding printed circuit board layouts and harness designs, ensuring that signal integrity, power distribution, and grounding practices satisfy functional objectives. The engineer will verify that configurations for BESS, GenSets, and data modules comply with electrical regulations and project specifications. Another key duty is supporting prototype assembly by converting electrical concepts into step-by-step build instructions that technicians can execute directly. Documentation for wiring terminations, terminal layouts, and integration test procedures must be maintained and updated. Collaboration with external and internal partners will be necessary to ensure that electrical architecture adheres to standards, logistical considerations, and installation constraints.

Requirements
Applicants must possess three to five years of experience designing electrical systems for hardware or infrastructure products. A working knowledge of Battery Energy Storage Systems, generator systems, and modular power architectures is essential for success in this position. The ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, datasheets, and technical specifications is required to inform accurate electrical decisions. A solid understanding of wiring standards, protection devices, and basic control logic is necessary for effective implementation.
Preferred Experience and Skills
Candidates with experience in energy storage interfaces, generator controls, and data center power configurations will be viewed favorably. Proficiency with design tools and methodologies related to schematics, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Generator Systems, Modular Data Centers, and industrial skids is expected.
