The organization is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to assume ownership of electrical system architecture for modular infrastructure initiatives. This position is responsible for directing the full lifecycle of electrical design, from initial concept through production ramp-up. The role provides technical oversight and leadership across engineering, manufacturing, testing, and product development departments. Success in this position requires the ability to move quickly while maintaining precision, and the role may involve travel up to 10 percent.
Position Responsibilities
The Senior Electrical Engineer will drive the electrical architecture for complex modular systems, translating detailed specifications into coherent, buildable solutions. You will create enclosure wiring diagrams and control schematics, ensuring every layout respects mechanical constraints and established safety standards. Your decisions will directly influence how teams approach prototyping, validation, and final delivery of reliable solutions for energy, production, and industrial applications.
Key responsibilities include leading the development of comprehensive electrical documentation, including prints and procedures, to provide clear guidance for fabrication, procurement, and field installation teams. You will work closely with mechanical and integration specialists to identify and resolve interface issues before components are finalized, preventing costly changes later in the process.
You will oversee prototype verification, measuring performance against design intent and driving iterative improvements to meet demanding specifications. A critical function is guiding production activities to ensure manufactured units consistently meet technical specifications, quality benchmarks, and demanding delivery timelines. The role also involves supporting qualification and compliance activities, demonstrating that solutions adhere to project requirements and relevant industry practices. When necessary, you will plan and execute travel to engage with partners, observe manufacturing builds, and validate installation procedures at customer sites. Required Qualifications
Candidates must bring three to five years of hands-on experience designing electrical systems for complex hardware products. Essential technical skills include direct, practical experience with 24-volt control systems and wiring practices. A demonstrated ability to read and correctly apply IEC standards is required for successful system implementation and compliance.
Proficiency with CAD software is mandatory to produce accurate drawings, panel layouts, and associated documentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills are non-negotiable, as the role requires frequent coordination across engineering, manufacturing, and stakeholder teams.
Preferred Experience and Tools
