What You Will Own
The selected individual will manage the full lifecycle of intelligence reporting for designated customers. This includes researching, analyzing, and composing assessments using authorized reporting formats. The position supports Signals Intelligence, Information Assurance, and Computer Network Operations missions. The analyst will evaluate data from passive and active collection methods, network assessments, and allied sources. These sources include but are not limited to Measurement and Signature Intelligence, Imagery Intelligence, Human Intelligence, and Open Source data. Outputs will describe target developments, emerging patterns, alerts, and situational awareness. The role includes performing accuracy checks and managing product release activities for client deliverables.
Qualifications Required
Applicants must hold specific analytic and reporting credentials. These include Analyst Editor authority, Report Releaser authorization, and Senior Reporting approval. A minimum of seven years of relevant experience is required across two or more designated disciplines. A STEM bachelor's degree may satisfy four of these years. Required disciplines include Computer Network Exploitation, Vulnerability Assessment, and Penetration Testing. Additional qualifying areas are Incident Response, Network or server forensics, and military Cryptologic work. Candidates must also demonstrate at least one year of experience in two specific technical skill sets. These include File Hashing and Fuzzy File Hashing methods. Other required proficiencies involve Commercial, open source, or Government Off The Shelf tools for monitoring. Expertise in packet capture and network analysis using tools such as tcpdump is mandatory. Network mapping and discovery techniques using nmap or similar utilities are required. Familiarity with standard system and network utilities is necessary. Additional mandatory experience covers development of exploits for Microsoft Windows. Equivalent experience with UNIX systems is also required. Exploit development for mobile devices, including Android and iOS platforms, is required. Reverse engineering software using disassemblers and debuggers is essential. The candidate must analyze code within memory, crash dumps, and kernel captures. Implementation of networks using IPv6 protocols is a core requirement. Active TS SCI clearance with a full-scope Polygraph is mandatory for this position.
Compensation and Location Details
The position is based in Maryland. The pay range for this role is $135,000 to $165,000 USD. These figures reflect factors such as location, applicable labor categories, and candidate qualifications. What You Will Do
Produce detailed intelligence reports using Signals and Open Source materials.
Design and apply content quality control measures prior to customer delivery.
Coordinate with technical teams to analyze network structures and exploitation trends.
Filter operational indicators and generate timely warning notifications for priority targets.
Correlate evidence from Human, Imagery, and Measurement and Signature Intelligence.
Construct packet capture review processes to support incident response activities.
Collaborate with security clearance teams to validate SCI and polygraph requirements.
Maintain rigorous version control and handling procedures for sensitive documents.
Required Capabilities
Possess an active TS SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Accumulate seven years of experience spread across two technical domains.
Apply reverse engineering methods to software and memory analysis.
Deploy IPv6 protocols in live network environments.
Execute vulnerability assessments and penetration tests for assigned systems.
Perform cryptanalysis within military or intelligence community organizations.
Optional Qualifications
Hands on experience with network monitoring tools such as Snort or BroIDS is preferred.
