About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to integrate into our growing sales organization. This position is perfectly suited for an individual who excels at prospecting, lead generation, cold outreach, and appointment setting. This role provides the ideal environment to develop foundational sales skills while actively contributing to the initial stages of the sales cycle.
This opportunity is open to candidates located in Montréal, Québec City, Laval, Longueuil, Lévis, Terrebonne, Brossard, Blainville, Saint-Jérôme, Repentigny, and surrounding regions.
What You'll Do
The primary responsibility of an SDR is to identify potential customers, engage with prospects, qualify opportunities, and schedule meetings for our Account Executives. This role serves as the critical engine for generating new sales opportunities through proactive outreach.
- Conducting targeted prospecting through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels.
- Identifying and initiating contact with potential B2B customers within specified target industries.
- Engaging with prospects to understand their specific needs, operational challenges, and overarching business priorities.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Articulating the Can-Ex Technologies solution suite and effectively communicating our distinct value proposition.
- Scheduling discovery meetings and live product demonstrations for Account Executives.
- Ensuring meticulous maintenance of accurate records and activities within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing departments to refine and enhance lead generation strategies.
- Executing consistent follow-up communications to nurture interest and build lasting trust with prospects.
- Committing to continuous learning regarding our products, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Achieving or exceeding daily and monthly activity goals, including call volumes, conversations, and qualified meetings.

Compensation: 70 000 $ par an, plus performance-based incentives
Requirements
You hold three to five years of outbound sales experience in technology or services.
Fluency in French and English is mandatory for clear communication with clients.
Access to a dependable vehicle and valid driver license is necessary for local travel.
Ability to work independently and within a team while adapting to changing priorities.
Comfort operating web based applications and learning hardware related products.
Nice to have
Experience selling to municipal governments or engineering consultancies is preferred.
