About the role
You will own the integrity and flow of digital assets for User Group campaigns from shoot to portal. You will act as the central liaison between photographers and the digital team during live photo shoots. You will master the capture One workflow to ensure every frame is correctly named and tracked in real time. You will maintain strict naming conventions and SOP discipline for all Before & After media. You will contribute directly to the creation of high impact visual compilations that demonstrate product results. You will help build a seamless digital portal that makes assets, claims, and survey data easy to locate. You will support the team by being detail oriented and deadline driven in a collaborative environment.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Run Capture One at User Group photo shoots to queue up "Before" photos for shooter, name assets, and organize and track each digital photo in the SOP on the fly in real time
- Become familiar with User Group Before & After photo tracking grid (SOP) and naming conventions to ensure consistency across all shoots
- Help organize and manage current and past digital media assets into individual User Group folders in Google Drive for easy retrieval
- Help create a user-friendly digital portal for our photo and video assets, claims, surveys, User data, and feedback for easy company access
- Help create "Best of" Before & After side-by-side compilations with existing templates to support marketing and claims documentation
- Support the User Group Photographer by preparing equipment lists, checking gear, and ensuring shooting schedules are maintained
- Liaise with the User Group Team to understand shoot objectives and translate them into organized digital workflows
- Monitor digital asset folders for completeness, correct labeling, and compliance with internal standards
- Assist in backing up and archiving media so that historical User Group content remains secure and accessible
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance the efficiency of photo management and data entry tasks
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with Capture One, strobe lighting, Canon/DSLR cameras and lenses and Google sheets to perform core job tasks
- Strong proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite, including Lightroom and Photoshop, for asset preparation and basic edits
- Excellent data management and organizational skills to handle large volumes of digital files accurately
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and strong attention to detail for precise asset naming and tracking
- Ability to work well within a team during shoots and also independently when managing personal workflows
- Strong ability to be self-motivated and deadline driven to meet shoot dates and asset delivery timelines
- Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift quickly
- High School Diploma as a minimum educational requirement for the role
- Experience assisting photographers, photo media management, managing and implementing digital asset systems is expected
- Some college and/or pursuing a Bachelor's Degree is preferred for long term growth
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar role is preferred to ensure readiness on day one
Nice to have
- Familiarity with user friendly portal tools for organizing and displaying digital assets
- Basic understanding of health, wellness, and beauty product photography concepts
- Experience with virtual and in-person company events to support team collaboration
Practical notes
Program Dates run from September 14th to December 10th. The intern role is part-time, requiring 25-29 hours of work each week. Candidates must be available for the full duration and commit to the outlined schedule. This internship is based onsite in Woodland Hills, CA, so remote work is not an option. The base hourly compensation is listed at $18 - $20 per hour, aligned with California cost of labor analysis. The role may involve exposure to company programs, charity sponsorships, and professional development initiatives.
