What you'll do
- Lead the medical team in providing comprehensive healthcare services to all employees at the Oko West Project, ensuring timely and effective treatment of injuries and illnesses.
- Develop and implement health and wellness programs that address the specific needs of the workforce, including preventive care and health education initiatives.
- Conduct regular health assessments and screenings to monitor the well-being of employees, identifying potential health risks and implementing appropriate interventions.

Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in occupational health or emergency medicine.
- Previous experience in a mining or industrial environment is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in medical software and electronic health record systems.
- Knowledge of local health regulations and industry standards related to occupational health and safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a focus on patient care and safety.
