Key facts
What you'll do
- Assist in the coordination of project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute-taking to ensure all discussions and decisions are documented accurately.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and facilitating effective communication across teams.
- Manage logistics for project-related events, including travel arrangements, accommodations, and venue bookings, ensuring all details are meticulously organized.
- Maintain and update project documentation, including reports, presentations, and correspondence, ensuring that all materials are current and accessible.
- Support the preparation of project briefs and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all communications.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather information and data necessary for project reporting and decision-making processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of project protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables, providing regular updates to the project team and identifying any potential issues that may arise.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge of project management tools and methodologies relevant to the mining industry.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project processes by providing feedback and suggestions based on your observations and experiences.
- Support the team in preparing for audits and compliance checks, ensuring all documentation is in order and readily available.

Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining or construction industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management software.
