As the , you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of a rapidly growing e-commerce company specializing in eyewear. This position is integral to ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and the overall financial health of the organization. What you'll do
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and internal controls.
- Manage the budgeting process, including the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, while providing insights to drive business decisions.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all audit requirements.
- Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

- Monitor cash flow and working capital, ensuring the company maintains adequate liquidity to meet its operational needs.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage the preparation of tax returns, working closely with tax advisors as necessary.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial management, implementing relevant changes to enhance the company's financial operations.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA designation is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards, with a proven track record of preparing accurate financial statements.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, demonstrating the ability to drive business performance through data-driven insights.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite or similar platforms is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to identify trends and variances in financial data.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
