React Native Developer

About the role

Wing Assistant is currently seeking a React Native Developer to contribute technical expertise to an MVP development project. This position requires the use of specific technologies including Express.js, React, SQL, MongoDB, and other relevant tools within the stack. The selected candidate will be responsible for key technical functions essential to the project's success.

Job Requirements

The core responsibilities demand proficiency in developing technical components for the MVP using React Native and associated technologies. The role involves assisting with the management of the META API approval and documentation workflow. You will manage the product's deployment lifecycle to guarantee smooth operation utilizing infrastructure tools such as AWS and MongoDB. Strong front and backend development skills with express.js and react are mandatory. Database management capabilities with SQL or MongoDB are essential. Experience using deployment tools like Vercel and AWS is required. Knowledge of authentication procedures, specifically two-factor authentication via phone or email using services like Twilio, is necessary. Familiarity with state management libraries such as ContextAPI or Redux Toolkit is expected. Experience with CSS libraries, specifically Tailwind CSS, and component libraries like Mui or Antd, is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates should provide proof of previous work involving the Meta API and its related processes. The ability to commence the project immediately is a distinct advantage. Exceptional interpersonal skills, a positive demeanor, and a self-starter mentality are preferred attributes for this role.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include creating the technical aspects of the MVP in collaboration with the development team. You will ensure the smooth process of approval and documentation with Meta. Managing the seamless deployment of the product is a critical function. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining project code and databases. The role requires collaboration with a global team in a remote setting. Effective communication in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory.

• Location and Engagement

The position is based in Manila, Philippines. The engagement is for a full-time duration.

Compensation

The compensation package is 25,000 PHP monthly for a period of two years.

• Key Responsibilities

You will design data models and user interface components for the application using React Native. The role requires configuring access for META services and preparing the necessary documentation for approval. You will establish deployment pipelines on AWS and ensure database reliability using MongoDB. Implementing secure endpoints and user interfaces with express.js and react is a core task. You will structure storage solutions and optimize queries for SQL or MongoDB systems. Preparing infrastructure on Vercel and AWS to support reliable application hosting is essential. Setting up identity verification using Twilio or similar services for two-factor authentication is required. You will organize application state using ContextAPI or Redux Toolkit while utilizing Tailwind CSS and Mui.

You must possess hands-on experience building projects with React Native and related technologies. Previous work on Meta API integrations and handling associated documentation requirements is mandatory. The ability to join the project without delay and maintain reliable communication is essential. You must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and a proactive self-starter mindset. Managing deployment processes to ensure the smooth operation of the product is a key duty. You must handle database design and maintenance tasks for SQL or MongoDB. Proficiency in utilizing deployment tools such as Vercel and AWS effectively is required. You must implement authentication flows that include two-factor options via phone or email.
