What you'll do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze product requirements, translating them into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, user feedback, and technical feasibility, ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy.
• Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements, address questions, and provide ongoing feedback throughout the development cycle.
• Conduct regular sprint planning and review sessions, facilitating discussions that help the team stay focused on delivering high-quality features.
• Engage with users to gather insights and feedback, using this information to inform product decisions and enhancements.
• Monitor product performance metrics and user engagement data to identify areas for improvement and drive product iterations.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful product launches and user adoption.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings, using this knowledge to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the product team, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
• Prepare and present product updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on product direction and progress.
• Support the development of training materials and documentation to facilitate user onboarding and product education.
• Act as a product evangelist, representing Geekbot at industry events and engaging with the community to promote our solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within a software development environment, ideally with a focus on SaaS products.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, with experience in managing product backlogs and facilitating sprint ceremonies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar platforms for tracking progress and managing workflows.
• Analytical mindset with experience in using data to drive decision-making and product improvements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about user needs and business goals.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and marketers, to deliver successful products.
• A passion for technology and a keen interest in understanding user behavior and market trends.

Nice to have

• Experience in the tech industry, particularly in remote work tools or team collaboration software.
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and experience working closely with design teams to enhance user experiences.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools and techniques for measuring product performance and user engagement.
• Previous experience in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Certifications in Agile methodologies, such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent.
