What you'll do
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements to minimize workplace hazards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential safety and environmental risks, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

- Assist in the preparation of safety and environmental budgets, tracking expenditures and identifying areas for cost savings.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to integrate safety and environmental considerations into project planning and execution.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, continually seeking opportunities for improvement in safety and environmental performance.
- Prepare and present safety and environmental reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in safety and environmental management, preferably within a construction or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental laws, and safety management systems.
- Proven ability to conduct safety audits and risk assessments, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey safety information to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CIH) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong leadership qualities.
Nice to have
