What you'll do

• Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard software to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Analyze project performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for management to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with project managers to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
• Monitor and track project expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and financial forecasts.
• Conduct regular project reviews and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and bids, providing data-driven insights to enhance competitiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in project controls, project management, or a related analytical role within the energy or construction sectors.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis principles as they relate to project management.

Nice to have

• Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar credentials is a plus.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques and reporting.
• Knowledge of risk management practices and tools within project controls.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
• Previous experience in the energy sector or with renewable energy projects is advantageous.

Skills & tools
