Key facts
What you'll do
- Lead the strategy, planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical products from their inception through to production.
- Manage the program budget effectively, ensuring accountability for all expenditures related to the project.
- Develop and maintain product cost models throughout the development cycle, ensuring that final product costs align with targets.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the program team and key stakeholders, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Employ disciplined project management methodologies to define project scope and create comprehensive program plans that adhere to budget and timelines.
- Continuously monitor project progress, assess quality, and resolve issues as they arise while communicating status updates and risks to stakeholders.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between product, engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
- Implement program management tools for effective communication, scheduling, risk management, resource allocation, cost tracking, and production planning.
Requirements
- A solid understanding of the technical product design life cycle and problem-solving methodologies.
- Proven ability to leverage technical knowledge to inform decision-making, particularly in trade-off discussions and program strategy.
- Business acumen to evaluate program decisions in financial terms, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
- A commitment to improving project efficiency and timelines through innovative approaches.
- Experience in communicating effectively with senior management while driving high performance from individual contributors.
- Demonstrated ability to create and utilize program management tools for various aspects of project oversight.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or scientific discipline.

Compensation
At Form Labs, we believe in shared success and equity as a key component of our compensation structure. Full-time employees are offered equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), allowing you to benefit directly from the growth of the company. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $120,000, depending on your skills, experience, and anticipated contributions to the organization.
