About the role
You will be a core member of the engineering team responsible for designing, architecting, and developing high-impact web applications that drive business value. You will translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders. This role owns the full lifecycle of application features, from initial design and prototyping through implementation, code reviews, and rigorous testing. You will design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-based solutions with a strong focus on security and disaster recovery. A key part of this position is leading integrations that connect real-time and near-real-time capabilities between our core products and existing applications. You will champion clean code, maintainability, and adherence to industry-standard principles such as CLEAN architecture and SOLID. As a trusted technical contributor, you will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the testing and deployment phases. You will also participate in a rotating on-call schedule and provide off-hours support as required to ensure system reliability.

What you'll do
Design, architect, develop, and perform code reviews on key applications to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Lead the design of new application features and integrations in collaboration with team members to deliver complex changes on schedule.
Architect and implement scalable and resilient cloud solutions while embedding security and disaster recovery considerations into every design decision.
Drive all activities required to integrate real-time and near-real-time capabilities between new core products and other internal and external applications.
Write and maintain effective automated tests to ensure good code coverage and test coverage across the application lifecycle.
Act as a champion of code quality by strictly adhering to CLEAN architecture and SOLID principles in all development work.
Participate in a rotating weekly on-call schedule and provide off-hours support as required to address production issues promptly.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, providing expert support during testing, deployment, and post-production phases.
Leverage modern development tools and frameworks such as Angular, jQuery, KendoUI, API layers, .NET Core, MongoDB, and MySQL to build responsive applications.
Utilize project management and product discovery tools such as JIRA and Aha to plan work, track progress, and align with business objectives.
Requirements
Must have at least 5 years of professional experience working on web development using modern technologies and practices.
Possess a post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
Have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with web development, including Angular, jQuery, KendoUI, API development, .NET Core, MongoDB, and/or MySQL.
Bring demonstrable experience working with .NET and the .NET Framework, as well as strong proficiency in the C# programming language.
Have at least 2 years of practical experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS or Azure, and integrating interconnected systems such as microservices.
Show a solid understanding of and hands-on experience with CLEAN architecture and SOLID principles in real-world projects.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while providing support during testing and deployment phases.
Experience working in an Agile environment and using tools such as JIRA and Aha for planning, tracking, and communication.
Strong knowledge of security best practices and the ability to apply them in design, development, and deployment.
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies and approaches to packaging and deploying applications.
Nice to have
Experience working with observability and monitoring tools such as Sumo Logic, New Relic, CloudWatch, or similar platforms.
Experience with DevOps concepts, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code, to automate and streamline delivery processes.
Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Atlassian Jira, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Aha!, New Relic, Sumo Logic, and related platforms.
Experience with AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar, as the company embraces AI-assisted development as part of its engineering culture.

The role operates in an office environment with full-time engagement.
On-site parking is available, and the facility includes an EV charging station for electric vehicles.
Employees may be required to participate in a rotating on-call schedule and provide off-hours support as needed.
