You will partner directly with senior project leadership to coordinate the execution of complex initiatives from initial planning through successful delivery. You will be responsible for monitoring project progress in real time, identifying potential deviations early, and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with the project team. You will exercise strong ownership over administrative workflows, ensuring that all project records are accurate, current, and readily accessible. You will act as a central point of contact for various stakeholders, facilitating clear and consistent information flow. What you'll do
Coordinate project schedules, resources, and deliverables to ensure alignment with established timelines and strategic objectives.
Monitor project performance metrics and key indicators, generating reports that highlight progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Manage procurement activities, including the placement of orders, tracking of deliveries, and verification of vendor compliance with contractual terms.
Maintain regular communication with project managers, team leads, and external partners to clarify requirements and resolve operational questions.
Organize and maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all records are systematically filed, archived, and retrievable for future reference.
Review project documentation and technical reports to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established standards and regulatory requirements.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications, providing support to ensure that project execution remains consistent with design intent.
Utilize project management software, including MS Project and collaboration platforms such as MS Teams, to track tasks, update statuses, and facilitate team coordination.
Support the identification and assessment of project risks, contributing to the development of mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Assist in the preparation of project status updates, presentations, and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.
Promote a collaborative team environment by coordinating efforts across departments and encouraging cross-functional cooperation.
Ensure strict adherence to project deadlines, proactively identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions to keep initiatives on track.
Apply problem-solving skills to address day-to-day project challenges, balancing competing priorities to meet organizational goals.
Demonstrate adaptability in managing multiple assignments simultaneously, maintaining a high level of efficiency and attention to detail.
Requirements
Demonstrate strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical plans and specifications, ensuring all project activities are executed correctly.
Bring knowledge or experience in the glass and glazing industry, with a particular focus on interior glass systems, as a distinct advantage for understanding project requirements.
Show exceptional competence in the use of Microsoft Office suite, specifically MS Project for scheduling and MS Teams for communication and collaboration.
Exhibit highly developed organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities to manage complex project demands effectively.
Maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
Thrive in a multi-tasking environment and actively contribute to a team-based work culture, supporting collective project success.
Hold a valid driver's license and maintain access to a personal vehicle to fulfill role responsibilities that may require local travel.

Practical notes
This is a full-time permanent position based in Montreal, Quebec. The work environment is dynamic, requiring a high level of engagement and responsiveness. While the standard location is Montreal, flexibility may be required to support organizational needs. Travel is generally minimal but may be required between project sites within the region. Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship. This role reports to senior project management and operates within a structured corporate framework.
