What you'll do
Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for technical and specialized roles within Engineering, Product, and Data, managing every stage from initial intake to offer acceptance.
Partner with hiring managers and executive leadership to define precise talent requirements and construct targeted sourcing strategies that deliver high-quality hires on demanding schedules.
Develop and maintain expansive technical talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and relationship cultivation with passive and active candidates.
Champion an exceptional candidate experience by providing transparent, engaging, and communicative interactions at every phase of the hiring journey.
Create and deploy creative closing strategies that effectively align candidate motivations with FloSports' mission and long-term organizational objectives.
Optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) workflows to ensure data integrity and enhance the efficiency of the recruiting process.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on refining interviewing methodologies, onboarding experiences, and established hiring best practices.
Leverage data and market insights to advise hiring managers and influence strategic decisions related to talent acquisition and workforce planning.
Utilize advanced sourcing techniques and community engagement to identify and attract diverse, hard-to-find technical talent.
Collaborate with the People Team to support broader talent goals, including diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in the technical recruiting space.
Requirements
Possess 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong focus on technical roles within fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Demonstrate the ability to partner strategically with hiring managers and executives, influencing decisions through the use of data and market insights.
Show a proven track record of building diverse pipelines and sourcing hard-to-find technical talent via creative outreach and community engagement.
Exhibit excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively sell both the role and the company mission to top candidates.
Display strong project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and delivering results consistently under tight deadlines.
Have a deep understanding of recruiting metrics, technical assessments, and established hiring best practices to ensure quality and efficiency.
Be proficient with modern ATS/CRM platforms such as Ashby, Greenhouse, or Lever, and sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter.
Operate with a high level of integrity and discretion when managing confidential information and sensitive hiring processes.
Hold a genuine passion for sports, technology, and helping skilled professionals find meaningful work that aligns with their values.

Practical notes
This role requires four in-office days each week. The position is full-time and offers a competitive compensation package. The base salary for this role is $130,000.00 per year. The position is based in Austin, Texas, and is eligible for benefits such as equity awards, comprehensive medical plans, and company-paid short-term disability insurance.
