About the role

This role is responsible for architecting the complete system of discovery for the Fivetran brand across traditional search engines and emerging AI platforms. The hire will own the end to end workflow that converts raw market insight into visible, high impact content that drives tangible business outcomes. You will define the strategic prompts, core topics, and content formats that generate measurable growth in organic traffic, visibility, and pipeline creation. This position requires balancing long term strategic thinking with hands on execution, constantly creating, reviewing, and refining how the company appears across owned and earned channels. You will partner closely with creative, product marketing, web, and brand teams to identify content gaps and ensure our overarching story wins consistently in every channel. During this ongoing transition period, you may encounter references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites. What you'll do

You will own our content led GEO and SEO strategy, defining the prompts, topics, formats, and ecosystems that drive measurable growth in traffic, visibility, and pipeline. You will identify and prioritize high impact content opportunities across product areas, influencing cross functional teams to bring that content to life efficiently. You will map and optimize our presence across the full ecosystem of LLM ingested content, including YouTube, Reddit, and review sites, to improve AI driven discoverability and brand perception. You will design and execute a comprehensive off page strategy, including link acquisition, digital PR, and authority building activities that reinforce domain trust. You will orchestrate content intake so ideas move from raw insight to structured briefs ready for production with clear ownership and timelines. You will architect topic clusters and content outlines that align with search intent and AI retrieval patterns for multiple global markets and use cases. You will audit our current presence to map visibility gaps across search engines and LLM driven answer spaces to uncover quick wins and strategic opportunities. You will coordinate with creative and product teams to turn approved concepts into production ready assets and compelling stories that resonate with audiences. You will shape prompts and formats that guide models to generate accurate, brand safe responses for our products and customer questions. You will monitor performance data to refine headlines, structure, and positioning for higher click through rates and conversion rates over time. You will partner with web and brand teams to ensure every published piece supports long term discovery, trust, and equity building for the business.

Requirements

You must have three to five years of experience in SEO or growth roles focused on content and visibility in a professional setting. You need a strong grasp of how search engines and large language models interpret language and rank responses in different contexts. You should understand content operations well enough to design workflows that reliably turn research into structured output and measurable results. You must be fluent in English and capable of producing clear, precise copy for both human readers and AI systems without ambiguity. You must be located in Denver, Colorado, United States, and eligible to work in this location without sponsorship. You must maintain consistent full time availability during standard business hours as defined by the company's operational needs. You must be able to start within a reasonable timeframe after receiving a formal offer.
