About the role
You will partner with the Head of People Ops to design and execute a scalable talent acquisition strategy for a high-growth hardware company. This role owns the full lifecycle for specialized positions in semiconductor engineering, AI hardware, and software. You will act as a strategic recruiter, managing end-to-end hiring for roles that directly impact our energy-efficient processor development. The position requires close collaboration with hiring managers to translate technical needs into actionable search plans. You will build and own a diverse pipeline of candidates capable of thriving in a fast-paced startup environment. This role provides exposure to People Operations and the chance to build recruiting foundations from the ground up. You will be responsible for improving hiring capacity and employer branding as we scale globally.

What you'll do
Coordinate full-cycle recruiting for specialized semiconductor, AI hardware, software, and corporate roles while owning requisitions and managing workflows.
Manage end-to-end recruiting activity, including interview coordination and candidate pipeline management within Greenhouse.
Perform effective phone screens to assess candidate fit for technical roles and company culture during initial engagement.
Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to proactively build diverse and robust talent pipelines.
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience by guiding applicants from first outreach through final onboarding stages.
Support new hire onboarding and other HR initiatives as staffing needs and operational priorities evolve.
Analyze and refine recruiting processes and employer branding to improve quality and speed of hire.
Balance multiple concurrent searches and coordination priorities within a fast-paced startup setting.
Champion best practices in candidate communication and scheduling to maintain high engagement levels.
Collaborate with the Head of People Ops and Senior TA Partner to align hiring strategy with company objectives.
Identify and assess specialized technical talent for roles across semiconductor development and AI hardware teams.
Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements and success criteria for hard-to-fill technical positions.
Monitor recruitment metrics and provide updates to stakeholders to support data-driven hiring decisions.
Contribute to the development of sourcing strategies that attract passive candidates in competitive technology markets.
Requirements
Bring 2-3 years of recruiting or HR experience within the semiconductor industry to this role.
Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of semiconductor organizations and the various engineering functions involved in hardware development.
Show foundational literacy of semiconductor development flow and the roles associated with each step within the process and adjacent roles.
Possess hands-on experience recruiting for specialized, hard-to-fill technical roles in complex engineering environments.
Have practical experience with Greenhouse ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter for managing pipelines and coordinating interviews.
Exhibit excellent communication skills and a strong focus on delivering an outstanding candidate experience.
Prove ability to balance multiple searches and coordination priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
Commit to supporting new hire onboarding and other People Operations initiatives as staffing needs scale.
Nice to have
Experience supporting onboarding or other People Operations activities beyond core recruiting tasks.
Experience recruiting for AI, computer architecture, ASIC/SoC, RTL, Physical Design, Verification, Compiler, or Embedded Software teams.

Efficient Computer offers a competitive salary range for this role, generally between $70,000 and $100,000, along with meaningful equity and comprehensive benefits. The final compensation package will be based on your experience and location, with some flexibility to ensure we align with the right candidate. The role is full time and may involve hybrid or remote arrangements depending on location and team needs.
