What you'll do

• Develop and curate engaging content that resonates with our target audiences in finance and startups, ensuring timely and relevant messaging.
• Produce short-form videos and multimedia content tailored for various social media platforms to enhance audience engagement.
• Actively participate in online discussions and communities, providing insightful responses to queries and fostering dialogue.
• Amplify the voices of our founders by promoting their insights and thought leadership across platforms such as X and LinkedIn.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, including engagement rates, follower growth, and overall brand recognition among finance professionals.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media strategies with broader company goals and initiatives.
• Experiment with different content formats and strategies to identify what resonates best with our audience, iterating quickly based on feedback.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform our social media strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
• Create and manage a content calendar to ensure a consistent and organized posting schedule across all platforms.
• Engage with influencers and thought leaders in the finance and startup sectors to build relationships and enhance our brand visibility.
• Conduct regular audits of our social media channels to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide reports and insights to the leadership team on social media performance and audience engagement trends.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing social media for startups, creators, or founders, demonstrating a strong understanding of the landscape.
• In-depth knowledge of the founder and SaaS ecosystems, with the ability to navigate and engage effectively within these spaces.
• Exceptional writing skills, particularly in crafting concise and impactful short-form content that captures attention.
• A preference for agile work processes, valuing quick execution and iteration over lengthy approval cycles.
• A dedicated work ethic, recognizing that social media engagement often occurs outside of traditional business hours.
• Proven ability to analyze social media metrics and translate data into actionable insights for strategy refinement.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the fintech sector, accounting practices, or B2B SaaS solutions, enhancing your ability to connect with our audience.
• Experience managing personal content initiatives, such as newsletters or podcasts, showcasing your creativity and initiative.

• Experience running paid social media campaigns, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of digital marketing strategies.
• A profile that reflects a strong online presence, leaning towards an "extremely online operator" rather than a conventional agency social media manager.
