People Operations Generalist
Job description
About the role
People Operations Generalist Opportunity
DualEntry is pioneering a new era for financial infrastructure. The company is developing the foundational operating system for finance, challenging the status quo of outdated software that dominates a $220 billion market. This AI-native ERP platform streamlines accounting from initial data capture through the close process, enabling finance teams to operate with greater speed, efficiency, and reduced risk. The organization has experienced rapid validation, securing over $100 million in funding from prominent investors and serving a diverse client base ranging from early-stage startups to publicly traded firms.
The role is a critical operational position focused on the integrity of the employee lifecycle. The individual in this position will own the end-to-end management of the employee journey, from initial onboarding through final exit. Success requires a proactive guardian of data accuracy, ensuring harmony across Human Resources Information Systems, payroll platforms, and internal databases. This position serves as the primary point of contact for navigating sensitive employee relations matters, requiring a balance of empathy, discretion, and sound judgment. You will act as the central hub for communication between staff, line managers, and finance, particularly concerning compensation, scheduling, and payroll coordination.
Position Responsibilities
You will architect and manage the systems that guide new team members through their onboarding journey, ensuring a seamless integration into the company's tools and culture. A core focus will be maintaining the fidelity of employee records, configuring HRIS profiles to ensure data consistency and reliability for audits and reporting. You will translate complex policies into clear, accessible communications, drafting materials that explain benefits, procedures, and organizational changes to a wide audience. This role requires close partnership with the Finance department to oversee payroll accuracy, process adjustments, and internal audits, preventing discrepancies before they arise.
When issues arise, you will be the first line of response, managing initial inquiries and determining the appropriate escalation path to resolve concerns efficiently. You will synchronize interview schedules and hiring workflows across multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring a coordinated and positive candidate experience. A significant portion of the role involves managing confidential and sensitive cases, where your discretion and judgment are paramount. You will also analyze scheduling and time-off data to support workforce planning and capacity management for department leaders. Building strong, collaborative relationships with other functions is essential to aligning people strategy with overall business objectives. You will maintain comprehensive documentation to facilitate smooth transitions, compliance reviews, and organizational audits.
Requirements for Success
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of ownership, having managed complex, end-to-end processes from conception through execution and review. You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments where procedures are not always clearly defined. Your background includes handling confidential information with the utmost maturity and integrity. You possess the ability to deconstruct ambiguous challenges and establish clear structures, systems, and actionable steps. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the flexibility to tailor your message for executives, peers, or individual contributors. A meticulous attention to detail is required to identify and correct errors before they escalate.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of five years of professional experience in HRBP, People Operations, or HR Generalist roles within dynamic, scaling organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to own processes completely, ensuring successful launch, ongoing monitoring, and completion.
- 成熟 and discretion in managing sensitive and confidential employee data.
- The capability to transform vague problems into structured, rule-based solutions with measurable outcomes.
- Clear, concise communication skills applicable to various audiences.
- A highly organized and detail-oriented approach to execution.
Additional Preferred Experience
Familiarity with United States employment regulations, payroll processing, and compliance standards is a distinct advantage for this role.
Compensation and Benefits
The total compensation package for this position is highly competitive. It includes a base salary ranging from $140,000 to $180,000, supplemented by equity valued between $45,000 and $60,000. The role is fully remote, with the team operating across various time zones, earning a reputation for speed. Additional benefits include stipends for home internet and office setup, flexible paid time off, unlimited AI token allocation for professional use, and dedicated budgets for AI skill development and continuous learning. The company also supports visa sponsorships and relocation for moves to New York City following a two-year tenure period.

You will join a team of exceptional builders at the forefront of a new industry. This is an early-stage opportunity to shape the future of the company and see your direct impact on its growth trajectory.
