About the role
The Tax and Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing various tax-related activities, treasury functions and cash management and forecasting. They ensure tax compliance, providing strategic advice on transfer pricing and international legal entity rationalization structure, optimizing our cash position and maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions. This role owns the end-to-end management of global tax compliance processes, ensuring all foreign and domestic filings are executed accurately and on schedule. The hire will develop and implement tax strategies designed to minimize tax liabilities and risk while monitoring changes in tax legislation and assessing the impact on the organization. They will provide clear guidance on the tax implications of business decisions and support cross-functional initiatives. Additionally, this role owns the preparation and filing of all required foreign and domestic tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other relevant taxes. The manager will oversee the preparation and review of the annual tax provision and manage deadlines and relationships with foreign and domestic tax partners.

What you'll do
- Drive the preparation and timely filing of foreign and domestic tax compliance execution, quarterly and annual provisions, ensuring all deadlines are met with precision.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and risk while monitoring changes in tax legislation and assessing the impact on the organization.
- Provide authoritative guidance on the tax implications of business decisions to support strategic planning and operational execution.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and filing of all required foreign and domestic tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other relevant taxes.
- Oversee the preparation and review of the annual tax provision to maintain financial accuracy and regulatory alignment.
- Manage deadlines and relationships with foreign and domestic tax partners to streamline compliance workflows.
- Prepare and maintain 13-week cash forecasts to monitor liquidity needs and support informed financial decision-making.
- Analyze and optimize free cash flow to support business operations effectively and enhance financial flexibility.
- Determine working capital requirements and implement strategies to manage cash efficiently across the enterprise.
- Manage the opening and closing of bank and investment accounts in coordination with treasury leadership.
- Collaborate with finance leaders on investment strategy to align treasury activities with organizational objectives.
- Oversee the management of the organization's investment portfolio to maximize returns while considering risk tolerance, liquidity requirements and Investment Policy guidelines.
Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of experience in a tax advisory firm, preferably Big 4, or 7+ years of industry experience in tax roles to this position.
- Demonstrate experience with complex international legal entity structures and their tax implications in diverse regulatory environments.
- Show proficient knowledge of ASC 740, Accounting for Income Taxes, and basic transfer pricing concepts to ensure accurate application.
- Maintain working knowledge of tax returns and provision calculations, staying abreast of relevant tax regulations and evolving compliance standards.
- Apply experience in treasury activities, including cash forecasting, cash position optimization, and cash analysis to support liquidity goals.
- Exhibit experience reviewing and interpreting tax laws, regulations, and rulings to ensure the organization remains in compliance and takes advantage of potential tax-saving opportunities.
- Demonstrate skill in identifying potential tax risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them across the business.
- Apply experience managing the organization's investment portfolio to maximize returns while considering risk tolerance, liquidity requirements and Investment Policy guidelines.
- Show experience managing foreign exchange exposure and implementing strategies to mitigate currency risk in international operations.
