What you'll do

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients during Disco Managed Review projects, managing teams of reviewers and providing necessary feedback and guidance to ensure speed and accuracy while managing multiple fast-moving projects at a given time.
• Structure and optimize review workflows, including QC workflows, based on the needs of individual review projects, and tailor managed review workflows to project need.
• Design review and quality control workflows and carry out QC responsibilities, implementing custom workflows in conjunction with our AI lab to reduce client costs and enhance speed-to-evidence.
• Guide the team and train junior colleagues to foster a collaborative team environment, showing keen interest in training and talent development by mentoring new Team Leads, QC personnel, and first-line reviewers.
• Create and refine Disco standard documentation, including review protocols, status reports, training guides and review workflows, while contributing to department initiatives and standardized documentation.
• Report on key project metrics to the broader Review team, actively tracking and suggesting improvements on operational parameters including cost, efficiency, and quality metrics.
• Work closely with clients to understand how cutting-edge tech is applied to document review to achieve exceptional review results, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams by providing feedback and feature requests to ensure the platform continues to meet real-world review demands.
• Adapt work schedules to support global client engagements in various time zones, primarily supporting engagements in the USA and UK from the Gurugram location.
• Foster a strong, inclusive team environment and culture where questions are encouraged and diversity is celebrated, leading by example.

Requirements

• Bring 8+ years of document review management experience at an eDiscovery / managed review or alternative legal services provider, in-house e-discovery review function, or consulting firm.
• Demonstrate skill in the use of at least one industry-leading review platform, like Disco, Relativity, Everlaw, Axcelerate, etc., showcasing hands-on technical proficiency.
• Prove the ability to adapt your work schedule to support global client engagements in various time zones, ensuring reliability and responsiveness.
• Show a consistent track record of actively tracking and suggesting improvements on operational parameters including cost, efficiency, and quality metrics.
• Exhibit experience in optimizing and tailoring managed review workflows based on specific project requirements and constraints.
• Highlight a focused commitment to fostering a strong, inclusive team environment and culture, where questions are actively encouraged and diversity is genuinely celebrated.
• Hold a strong understanding of the legal review process and the challenges inherent in managing complex eDiscovery projects.
• Maintain excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
