About the role
You will manage and mentor a team of Revenue Operations Solution Engineers, balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical execution to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality strategic and technical work. You will partner closely with the Director of Revenue Operations to lead complex client engagements and oversee the performance and development of your team. You will serve as the key escalation point for challenging client and technical issues, guiding architecture and troubleshooting intricate marketing automation and CRM environments. You will own or oversee strategic client relationships, ensuring strong communication, delivery quality, and client satisfaction at every engagement. You will lead and support Salesforce, HubSpot, and marketing automation audits, implementations, integrations, and optimization projects directly within client environments. You will translate complex technical findings and audit results into clear, actionable recommendations for both executive and non-technical stakeholders. You will review strategist work for technical accuracy and strategic quality before client delivery to maintain the highest standards. You will partner with Account Directors and internal leadership to identify expansion and cross-sell opportunities that drive growth within existing relationships.

What you'll do
- Manage and mentor a team of Revenue Operations Solution Engineers, including workload management, prioritization, coaching, and performance support.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex client and technical challenges, providing expert guidance and resolution strategies.
- Own or oversee strategic client relationships, ensuring strong communication, delivery quality, and client satisfaction across all engagements.
- Lead and support Salesforce, HubSpot, and marketing automation audits, implementations, integrations, and optimization projects from scoping to execution.
- Provide hands-on expertise across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot, and HubSpot Marketing Hub to ensure technical accuracy.
- Design and advise on lifecycle architecture, lead management, routing, automation, CRM/MAP integrations, attribution, reporting, and data governance frameworks.
- Translate complex technical findings and audit results into clear, concise recommendations for executive and non-technical stakeholders.
- Review strategist work for technical accuracy and strategic quality before client delivery to uphold Directive Consulting standards.
- Partner with Account Directors and internal leadership to identify and develop expansion and cross-sell opportunities within existing client portfolios.
- Support scoping, solution design, and new business conversations for RevOps opportunities to ensure accurate and compelling proposals.
- Help develop repeatable processes, documentation, playbooks, and technical standards as the Revenue Operations practice scales and evolves.
- Maintain visibility into project health, capacity, utilization, and delivery risks across the team to proactively manage timelines and resources.
Requirements
Must Haves
- 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Marketing Operations, CRM consulting, marketing automation, or a related discipline.
- 1-2+ years of direct people management or formal team leadership experience.
- Active Salesforce Administrator Certification.
- Strong hands-on Salesforce Sales Cloud administration and implementation experience.
- Deep experience with Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot, including either Pardot/Account Engagement certification or at least 2-3 years of hands-on Pardot implementation and administration experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub, including automation, lifecycle management, data architecture, integrations, and reporting.
- Experience leading complex CRM and marketing automation implementations, audits, migrations, or optimization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of lead lifecycle management, lead routing, attribution, CRM/MAP integrations, automation, and data governance principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead senior-level client conversations and translate technical issues into business recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently manage client expectations and navigate difficult conversations.
- Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical execution across multiple client engagements.

- Previous agency experience strongly preferred; consulting or professional services experience is also highly relevant.
- Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot certification.
