What you'll do

• Provide comprehensive legal advice to various departments within the company, focusing on commercial agreements, compliance, and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to supplier agreements, service contracts, and partnership agreements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations that may impact the business operations of Bamboohr.
• Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Support the company in dispute resolution processes, including mediation and arbitration, as needed.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on legal issues and best practices to promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
• Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary, ensuring that the company's interests are adequately represented.
• Participate in cross-functional projects, offering legal insights to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.
• Monitor changes in legislation and industry standards, advising the company on necessary adjustments to policies and practices.
• Assist in the preparation of legal documentation for corporate governance, including board resolutions and shareholder agreements.
• Maintain accurate records of legal documents and correspondence to ensure efficient management of legal matters.

Requirements

• A law degree from an accredited institution and a valid legal license to practice in Armenia.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial legal role, preferably within the technology or software industry.
• Strong understanding of commercial law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating complex contracts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide sound legal advice.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience in the gaming or fintech sectors, providing a deeper understanding of industry-specific legal challenges.
• Familiarity with data protection laws and regulations, particularly GDPR and local data privacy laws.
• Previous experience working in an international legal environment or with cross-border transactions.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in legal research tools and contract management software.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to use negotiation and conflict resolution techniques effectively.

• This position is based in Yerevan, Armenia, and may require occasional travel for meetings or conferences.
• The candidate must be eligible to work in Armenia; visa sponsorship will be provided for qualified international applicants.
