About the role
Bamboohr is seeking an InfoSec Compliance Operations Specialist to join their team in Yerevan. This is a contract position dedicated to information security compliance operations within the organization. The role centers on ensuring that all software products, internal processes, and business operations meet applicable security standards and regulatory obligations. The specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams across the company to maintain a strong compliance posture and address evolving security requirements. This position plays an important part in safeguarding the integrity of Bamboohr's systems and data assets while supporting the company's commitment to secure and responsible operations. The specialist will also help drive continuous improvement in compliance processes and contribute to the organization's overall security maturity. Working within a dynamic software environment, the specialist will ensure that compliance obligations are met efficiently and effectively across all operational areas. The specialist will report to the information security leadership team and coordinate with regional stakeholders to ensure consistent compliance practices across all business units.

What you'll do
- Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of information security compliance frameworks across the entire organization
- Monitor and document adherence to internal security policies and external regulatory standards on a continuous basis
- Coordinate with engineering and product teams to ensure software development practices align with established compliance requirements
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive compliance documentation, detailed reports, and audit artifacts for both internal and external review
- Conduct regular assessments of operational processes to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions for improvement
- Assist with the planning and execution of internal security audits as well as third-party compliance assessments
- Track compliance-related findings and ensure timely resolution of identified issues through documented remediation plans
- Collaborate with the legal and privacy teams to stay current on applicable regulations and evolving industry standards
- Contribute to the development of security awareness materials and targeted training programs for operational staff members
- Participate actively in incident response activities related to compliance violations or potential security breaches
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in information security, compliance, or a related operational role within a technology-focused organization
- Familiarity with common compliance frameworks and regulatory standards relevant to software development and technology operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing detailed reports and engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple compliance tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven operational environment
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to documentation, process improvement, and ongoing regulatory obligations
- Relevant degree or professional certification in information security, IT, governance, risk management, or a related discipline
- Experience working with software development or technology operations teams to embed compliance considerations into delivery workflows
- Self-directed work ethic with the ability to operate independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team setting
Nice to have
- Prior experience at a software or gaming technology company in a compliance or information security role
- Knowledge of data protection regulations such as GDPR or equivalent regional privacy and security frameworks
- Familiarity with GRC governance risk and compliance tooling or platforms for managing ongoing security obligations
- Experience supporting audit readiness activities and external compliance assessments with well-organized documented evidence
