What you'll do

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with international banks and payment service providers to facilitate seamless payment processing.
• Analyze and assess the performance of existing banking and payment partnerships, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, compliance, and technology, to ensure alignment on payment strategies and operational processes.
• Conduct market research to identify new banking and payment opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with banking partners to secure favorable agreements that enhance our payment capabilities.
• Monitor regulatory changes in the banking and payments landscape, ensuring compliance with local and international laws.
• Prepare and present reports on payment performance metrics and banking relationships to senior management.
• Lead initiatives to enhance the user experience for clients utilizing our payment solutions, ensuring a smooth transaction process.
• Provide training and support to internal teams regarding banking and payment systems, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
• Participate in industry events and conferences to represent Bamboohr and stay updated on trends and innovations in the banking and payment sectors.
• Work closely with the technology team to implement new payment technologies and systems that improve operational efficiency.
• Act as a point of contact for any payment-related inquiries, resolving issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in banking, payment processing, or financial services, with a focus on international markets.
• Strong understanding of payment systems, banking regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in managing relationships with banks and payment service providers.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Familiarity with payment technologies and digital banking solutions.
