What you'll do

• Oversee and manage the preparation of financial statements in accordance with international accounting standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights that support strategic decision-making within the company.
• Conduct thorough reviews of financial transactions and reports to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations to ensure a smooth audit experience.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with international standards.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, preparing detailed reports for management that highlight trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations in various jurisdictions, minimizing tax liabilities while adhering to legal requirements.
• Provide training and support to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and development.
• Stay updated on changes in international accounting standards and regulations, proactively adapting processes to align with new requirements.
• Participate in financial planning and forecasting activities, contributing to the development of budgets and long-term financial strategies.
• Engage in special projects as assigned, utilizing your expertise to drive improvements in financial processes and systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international partners and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration on financial matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in international accounting, with a proven track record in financial reporting and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and local tax regulations, with the ability to navigate complex financial environments.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with tools such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a multinational corporation or within the tech industry is advantageous.
• Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus, particularly in regions where Digitain Software operates.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within an accounting department.
