About the role
This role sits within the eBay EU Brand team and operates in close partnership with the social lead to shape category specific social media strategies. The hire will own the conception, execution, and optimization of social media campaigns that drive awareness and demand for eBay's marketplace. Work will be conducted across international markets requiring coordination with agency partners and internal stakeholders. The position demands a blend of creative ideation and data driven decision making to test and iterate on content and paid social. The hire will track emerging platform trends and ad products to ensure eBay remains a key partner for users on social media. Success in this role will be measured by the performance of social campaigns and the ability to turn insights into scalable activations. What you'll do

Track emerging trends, technologies, and ad products to maintain up to date knowledge of social media best practices and innovations.
Manage demanding project timelines by applying strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Communicate clearly and effectively within cross functional setups and fast paced environments to ensure alignment and execution.
Leverage strong proficiency in German and English at C2+ level to work confidently with stakeholders and partners in different markets.
Requirements
The role requires a bachelor's degree as a minimum educational qualification.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in social media and influencer marketing for brands or agencies is mandatory, with deep experience in social campaigns and editorial activations.
Previous work with creative or media agencies is necessary, with confidence in briefing, coordinating, and managing deliverables to a high standard.
Strong project management and organisational skills are essential to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and dependencies.
Clear communication is essential to thrive in cross functional setups and fast paced, ambiguous environments.
Candidates must demonstrate strong proficiency in German and English at C2+ level to perform effectively in this role.
