About the role
This position is embedded within the eBay inhouse team, where DEPT®® employs the successful candidate to act as a key strategic partner in shaping the brand's customer-facing narrative. The Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring eBay maintains a powerful and consistent brand presence during critical daily interactions and pivotal retail moments through CRM channels. You will translate complex market data into compelling narratives that resonate with distinct consumer segments and drive measurable engagement. This role requires a balance of creative storytelling and rigorous analysis to test, learn, and refine messaging continuously. You will own the end-to-end development and execution of campaigns, aligning creative concepts with commercial objectives and brand standards. Define the owned channel execution strategy, taking responsibility for large-scale multi-channel retail campaigns that span major seasonal events like Christmas and Black Friday.
Own the development of go-to-market plans for large campaigns, aligning multiple business functions, regional strategies, and commercial priorities to ensure cohesive execution.
Use campaign optimization practices and post-campaign analysis to drive measurable outcomes and share clear, actionable learning across the organization.
