About the role

foodpanda is hiring a Manager, Logistics Planning and Admin to oversee the operational foundation of our rider supply chain. You will manage inventory accuracy, procurement workflows, and warehouse efficiency while bridging the gap between local operations, finance, and procurement departments. In this capacity, you will serve as the primary liaison ensuring that stock levels, procurement schedules, and financial plans are synchronized across teams. You will leverage analytical rigor to translate raw logistics data into actionable plans that prevent disruptions and optimize resource use. The role requires a high level of ownership in coordinating end to end processes that keep essential goods moving seamlessly. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of digital records against physical inventory while aligning these activities with broader corporate objectives. This position is critical in ensuring that our supply hub operations remain efficient, compliant, and cost effective in a dynamic market environment.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with the regional logistics group on specific projects and optimization initiatives to enhance overall supply chain performance.
• Support the local logistics director by analyzing performance metrics and logistics data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Manage the end to end inventory backend, ensuring digital records match physical stock levels through systematic checks and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with finance and procurement to align logistics needs with demand forecasts, ensuring resources are available when required.
• Create inventory movement plans and vendor delivery schedules to prevent operational gaps and maintain service continuity.
• Forecast demand for core assets using historical city level consumption trends and seasonality patterns to guide procurement decisions.
• Maintain the master inventory tracker through regular audits to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability for decision making.
• Analyze price changes and negotiate with procurement teams to improve budget efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
• Handle SAP Ariba workflows, validating procurement requests against market rates to ensure compliance and cost effectiveness.
• Manage supply hub lease agreements, including renewals and rental tracking, to secure necessary infrastructure for operations.
• Monitor stock levels in real time and initiate corrective actions when discrepancies are detected to minimize disruptions.
• Facilitate cross functional communication to ensure that logistics constraints are considered in planning and budgeting cycles.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures for inventory and procurement processes to improve team efficiency.
• Assist in the implementation of new tools or system updates that enhance the accuracy and speed of logistics planning activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related discipline as the foundational academic qualification.
• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in E commerce operations, supply chain administration, or logistics within a relevant industry context.
• Practical experience with Shopify Backend and SAP Ariba or similar ERP and procurement software to manage procurement and inventory processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for managing complex data trackers, formulas, and reporting dashboards.
• Ability to manage local stakeholders and work within cross functional teams to align objectives and resolve operational issues.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and their application in fast moving consumer goods environments.
• Demonstrated capability to analyze data, interpret trends, and present findings to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Willingness to adhere to company policies, compliance standards, and procedural guidelines in all logistics and administrative tasks.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in Q commerce, the gig economy, or fast paced logistics sectors that align with the dynamic nature of foodpanda operations.
