Sr Account Manager Regions Italy
Job description
About the role
Mission and Scope
This position is responsible for building, managing, and growing relationships with top restaurant partners in Italy. You will act as a trusted consultant, leveraging data-driven insights and industry knowledge in collaboration with internal functions to optimize partnerships and maximize business impact. Your primary focus is to translate business context into clear, actionable guidance that drives revenue for restaurant partners and Glovo. Success requires end-to-end ownership of the partner journey, from initial onboarding to mature, long-term performance management.
Key Responsibilities
You will own the complete lifecycle of key Italian restaurant partners, ensuring their success on the Glovo platform. This involves orchestrating seamless onboarding workflows, guiding partners through store setup, and supporting their first days of operation with a focus on operational and sales readiness. A core duty is to analyze data and translate findings into strategic guidance that removes obstacles to profitable growth. You will design and implement experiments involving promotions and menu optimization to lift performance while safeguarding brand integrity and unit economics.
Driving rapid revenue growth is a central obligation, achieved through smart promotions, high-impact marketing activations, and continuous menu optimization. You will take full ownership of partner revenue performance, tracking key metrics and adjusting tactics to sustain momentum. Collaboration with internal teams-including Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service-is essential to develop and roll out customized solutions that address specific partner needs. You will also coordinate these cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective execution.
Finally, you will champion partner results by consistently monitoring performance, refining strategies, and maintaining momentum over time. This includes building long-term trust through proactive communication and regular check-ins to keep partners fully informed and engaged. You will take complete ownership of the partner journey within the Glovo app, ensuring smooth execution from launch through steady-state operations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must bring a minimum of 2 years of high-performance account management or business consultancy experience, preferably within the food-hospitality or on-demand delivery industry. You must possess a strong ability to handle data analysis, using detailed insights to solve problems and guide decisions for partners. Excellent time management skills are required to balance strategic planning with hands-on work that directly drives results.
Fluency in Italian at a native level and professional proficiency in English are mandatory requirements for this role. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is considered a plus. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of exceeding KPIs and a history of pursuing ambitious goals with timely execution. You are expected to be a highly organized, proactive individual who is eager to engage in both strategic planning and operational execution.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce and Google suite tools is preferred. Familiarity with these platforms will enable more efficient management of partner relationships and internal coordination.

You will also receive discounts on transportation, food, and kindergarten expenses, along with extra time off. The package features enhanced parental leave and an office-based nursery. Mental well-being is supported through online therapy and wellbeing benefits. The role offers the flexibility to work from home two days a week and the opportunity to work from anywhere for up to three weeks a year.
