The position demands a high level of ownership over the full sales cycle from onboarding to growth initiatives. You will be responsible for turning complex partner needs into structured and scalable solutions. This role is critical in driving profitability and sustainability for each account under your management. You will continuously challenge the status quo to identify incremental improvements in value delivery.

- Manage negotiations regarding high-impact marketing campaigns and business opportunities to secure favorable terms and alignment.
- Identify and resolve partner issues by providing customized solutions that address root causes and prevent future escalations.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Operations, and Sales teams to improve partner performance through integrated strategies and clear communication.
- Monitor account metrics and KPIs to guide data-driven improvements and highlight areas requiring immediate attention.
- Apply retail and supermarket industry insights to uncover new value for partners and stay ahead of sector-specific challenges.
- Maintain a hands-on presence in daily operations to ensure quality service and immediate response to emerging needs.
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align internal stakeholders on key initiatives impacting partner satisfaction.
- Translate complex internal policies into clear actions that support partner needs without compromising compliance.
- Drive commercial excellence by introducing innovative merchandising and promotional ideas tailored to each account.
- Act as the escalation owner for critical issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to service levels.
- Build forecasting models for sales and promotions based on historical data and upcoming market activities.
- Champion the adoption of new tools and processes that enhance visibility into account health and performance.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional experience in business development or account management within a relevant industry context.
- Background in the retail sector with demonstrable experience in managing key accounts or customer relationships.
- Fluency in both Norwegian and English to ensure clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously in a rapid work environment without sacrificing quality or attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building trust and long-term partnerships through empathy and professional demeanor.
- Proven track record in strategic planning and commercial growth with tangible results from previous initiatives.
- Experience in negotiating contracts and commercial terms with retailers or supermarket chains is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and KPIs to inform decision making and performance reviews.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift frequently based on market demands.
