About the role
You will act as the primary commercial business owner for independent restaurant, retail, and grocery partners within your assigned territory in the Midlands. In this capacity, you will drive performance and volume by conducting strategic reviews that improve operational basics and enable partners to scale efficiently. You will partner closely with the UK&I Regional team, managing all three sides of the Deliveroo marketplace to deliver selection and growth within a mature market. This role requires you to diagnose and resolve marketplace supply issues, proactively bringing offline partner sites back online to maintain continuity. You will leverage consultative skills to coach partners, sharing domain expertise that helps them self-serve and expand their footprint with Deliveroo over time. As a regional subject matter expert, you will influence best practices across the commercial team while maintaining rigorous data integrity in Salesforce. Your work will directly impact customers, partners, and riders, making a visible contribution to the evolution of a global three-sided marketplace.

What you'll do

- Maintain data integrity by managing pipeline activity, logging partner meetings, and documenting clear handover notes systematically within Salesforce to ensure transparency and continuity.
- Act as a strategic partner to restaurant, retail, and grocery operators, aligning their goals with Deliveroo's marketplace objectives and growth initiatives.
- Conduct field-based analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities that can be translated into actionable plans for partner success.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate solutions that remove operational friction and enhance the partner experience in the field.
- Represent Deliveroo professionally in all partner interactions, reinforcing the brand's commitment to reliability, innovation, and service excellence.
- Contribute to broader commercial initiatives by providing insights from the field that inform strategy, product development, and marketplace optimization.
Requirements
- Possess significant experience in account management, relationship management, or strategic partnership roles that involve managing complex external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving commercial targets and delivering measurable growth in a performance-driven environment.
- Operate effectively as a highly organised self-starter who thrives working independently on the road three to four days per week, while also excelling in office-based collaboration when required.
- Exhibit proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with diverse independent business owners, adapting your style to suit varied audiences.
- Hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a personal vehicle suitable for regional travel to conduct partner reviews and recovery activities across the Midlands.
- Commit to adhering to Deliveroo's standards for professionalism, data security, and compliance in all field-based interactions and documentation processes.
- Show capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic marketplace, maintaining focus on both immediate issue resolution and longer-term growth objectives.
- Display willingness to participate in a structured interview process that typically includes three to four stages, providing transparent and accurate information throughout.
