About the role
You will own the commercial performance of independent restaurant, retail, and grocery partners across the Midlands territory, acting as the primary business owner in the field. This role requires you to conduct strategic consultative reviews that drive operational improvements and help partners scale their businesses on Deliveroo. You will proactively recover marketplace supply by diagnosing and resolving blockers at offline partner sites, ensuring consistent availability and performance. As a regional subject matter expert, you will share best practices to upskill the wider commercial team and elevate account management standards. You will maintain rigorous data integrity by logging partner meetings and documenting handover notes within Salesforce to support pipeline visibility. This position demands strong relationship management skills and a commercial focus on achieving growth targets in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the UK & Ireland Regional team to deliver selection and growth across three sides of the marketplace. What you'll do
- Own partner growth by acting as the primary commercial business owner for independent restaurant, retail, and grocery partners within your territory to drive performance and volume.
- Deliver consultative reviews that are exceptional, coaching partners with tailored operational insights to help them self-serve and expand with Deliveroo.
- Recover marketplace supply by proactively engaging with offline partner sites to diagnose issues, resolve blockers, and efficiently bring them back online.
- Share domain expertise as the regional subject matter expert for independent account growth, upskilling the wider commercial team on best practices.
- Maintain data integrity by managing pipeline activity, logging partner meetings, and documenting clear handover notes systematically within Salesforce.
- Work within the UK & Ireland Regional team structure, managing all three sides of the marketplace - restaurants, consumers, and riders - to deliver selection and growth.
- Conduct strategic reviews that improve operational basics and enable partners to scale their businesses effectively.
- Act as the key liaison between independent partners and the broader commercial function, translating insights into actionable plans.

Requirements
- Possess significant experience in account management, relationship management, or strategic partnership roles, demonstrating a proven track record in field-based responsibilities.
- Show strong commercial acumen with a documented history of achieving commercial targets and delivering growth in competitive environments.
- Operate effectively as a highly organised self-starter who thrives working independently on the road 3-4 days per week while also excelling in office collaboration.
- Demonstrate proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with diverse independent business owners from various backgrounds and sectors.
- Hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a personal vehicle to enable regional travel across the Midlands territory.
- Commit to working a hybrid schedule that requires physical presence in the office for collaboration and planning sessions.
- Adhere to Deliveroo's values and standards while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven marketplace.
- Maintain data discipline by consistently logging activities and outcomes in Salesforce to ensure transparency and pipeline accuracy.
