What you'll do

• Lead and manage bar operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company standards.
• Develop and implement innovative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences.
• Train, mentor, and supervise bar staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
• Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock and control costs effectively.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Analyze sales reports and financial data to identify trends and make informed decisions for improving profitability.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as kitchen staff and event coordinators, to ensure seamless operations.
• Organize and promote special events and themed nights to attract and engage customers.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality products and competitive pricing.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and best practices to enhance the bar's offerings.
• Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss performance, share feedback, and strategize for future success.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in bar management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing a bar or beverage program, with a focus on customer service.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with guests and staff alike.
• Knowledge of mixology, beverage trends, and cocktail preparation techniques.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.

Nice to have

• Experience in a high-volume bar or nightclub setting.
• Certification in bartending or mixology from a recognized institution.
• Knowledge of local and international beverage trends, including craft cocktails and artisanal spirits.
• Experience in event planning and execution, particularly in a bar or hospitality context.
• Fluency in multiple languages, enhancing communication with a diverse clientele.
