What you'll do
Conduct in-depth analysis of existing customer accounts to uncover usage patterns, service gaps, and untapped revenue potential.
Champion the Daniels Health value proposition during high-stakes conversations with executive sponsors and clinical leaders within target accounts.
Develop and execute strategic account plans that outline specific initiatives, timelines, and success metrics for portfolio growth.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex customer issues, ensuring service reliability and reinforcing long-term trust.
Identify and qualify new sales opportunities by mapping organizational structures and decision-making units within healthcare facilities.
Deliver compelling presentations and proposals that clearly articulate the clinical, operational, and financial benefits of Daniels solutions.
Leverage data and market insights to anticipate customer needs and position Daniels Health as the forward-thinking leader in sharps management.
Partner with the marketing team to create targeted content that supports demand generation and reinforces the brand's commitment to safety and sustainability.
Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, coordinating responses to inquiries and overseeing the resolution of service-related matters.
Monitor competitive activity and market trends, providing feedback to leadership that informs product positioning and service enhancements.
Represent Daniels Health at industry events and networking functions to elevate brand awareness and establish thought leadership.
Work closely with implementation teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers and the retention of at-risk accounts.
Translate customer feedback into actionable insights that drive product improvements and service innovation.
Demonstrate unwavering integrity and compliance in all customer interactions, aligning with Daniels Health's standards and healthcare regulations.
Requirements
You must hold a Bachelor's degree or possess equivalent practical experience that demonstrates your ability to succeed in this role.
You bring a proven track record of success in medical, scientific, or technical sales within the healthcare industry.
You have experience selling into acute care hospital environments, including C-suite, operational, and clinical stakeholders.
You are comfortable navigating complex organizational structures and influencing decision-makers at multiple levels.
You have a history of exceeding sales quotas and delivering consistent, predictable revenue growth in previous roles.
You understand the fundamentals of waste management regulations and compliance as they apply to healthcare settings.
You are proficient in using CRM systems to manage pipelines, forecast revenue, and document customer interactions.
You hold a valid driver's license and are willing to travel as required to meet customers and attend company events.
Nice to have
Experience with sustainability initiatives or circular economy models is highly valued.
Familiarity with clinical waste segregation, sterilization, or infection control protocols is preferred.
Background in medical device or capital equipment sales is an advantage.
Knowledge of healthcare procurement processes and group purchasing organizations is beneficial.
Experience with consultative selling methodologies such as SPIN or Challenger Sale is appreciated.
Understanding of healthcare IT systems and data exchange standards can be an asset.
