What you'll do
- Act as the primary inbound point of contact for dental prospects, shaping the first impression of Dandy with professionalism and expertise.
- Leverage outbound strategies including email and phone campaigns to identify and connect with new dental practice decision-makers.
- Utilize Salesforce and other software tools to meticulously track sales activity, update statuses, and maintain accurate forecasting data.
- Confidently overcome common objections by articulating the Dandy value proposition and demonstrating how technology simplifies dental operations.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure seamless handoffs, providing detailed context so that relationships can continue to develop smoothly.
- Partner with senior sales leadership to understand evolving market conditions and adjust outreach tactics to meet high-level KPIs and revenue targets.
- Contribute to the development of the sales pipeline by generating a steady flow of qualified meetings that support the growth of the go-to-market function.
- Engage in ongoing career upleveling and account executive training opportunities to refine your sales techniques and industry knowledge.
- Explore and implement new sales tools and technologies that enhance efficiency and streamline the prospecting and qualification process.

Requirements
You must possess 0-2+ years of sales experience in a high-growth startup environment, with SaaS experience being highly preferred. You should have a background in cold calling, particularly targeting SMB markets, and understand the nuances of short-cycle sales. A strong commitment to continuous improvement is essential, as you will learn new sales concepts through rigorous training programs and apply them immediately. You must be able to navigate ambiguity and ramp up quickly even when resources are limited, demonstrating adaptability and resilience. Experience with standard sales tools is required, and you should have a demonstrated desire to explore and implement new tools that improve the sales process. A record of professional and academic success will be expected, showing reliability and a strong work ethic. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the position offered. Reliable transportation to the New York or Utah office on designated days is required to fulfill hybrid schedule expectations. You must be available to work Tuesday through Thursday in the office, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays as outlined in the hybrid policy.
