About the role
You will serve as the initial point of contact to a wide range of dental practice prospects, shaping first impressions of the Dandy brand through confident and professional outreach. You will utilize email, phone, and other creative channels to execute outbound tactics that introduce our solution to the market and build a robust pipeline for the sales team. In this role, you will track your sales activity meticulously using Salesforce and other software tools to maintain clarity and accountability. You will overcome objections, pitch the Dandy value proposition with clarity, and move prospects forward in the sales process with persistence and empathy. You will work seamlessly with senior sales leadership and cross-functional partners to meet high-level KPIs and revenue targets. This position provides immediate exposure to end-to-end sales workflows and ongoing career upleveling and account executive training opportunities. You will be an essential part of a growing group of incoming sales professionals driving revenue during this next stage of our hypergrowth. Our SDR team operates in a hybrid environment out of our office in NYC/Lehi where we are in the office Tuesday-Thursday and work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

What you'll do

- Utilize email, phone, and other creative channels to reach prospective clients through targeted outbound tactics.
- Track your sales activity using Salesforce and other software tools to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Overcome objections, pitch the Dandy value proposition, and guide prospects through the early stages of the sales cycle.
- Partner with Account Executives on client handoffs to ensure smooth transitions and consistent communication.
- Work seamlessly with senior sales leadership to understand high-level KPIs and contribute directly to revenue targets.
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions and outcomes to support strategic decision-making and process refinement.
- Be a part of ongoing career upleveling and account executive training opportunities to accelerate your professional growth.
- Engage in continuous learning of new sales concepts, tools, and methodologies through structured training programs.
- Contribute to the development of the go-to-market function by providing feedback from the market to inform messaging and positioning.
Requirements
- 0-2+ years of sales experience in a high-growth startup environment with SaaS work highly preferred.
- Experience with cold calling targeting SMB accounts is a significant advantage.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and a strong desire to learn new sales concepts via rigorous trainings.
- Ability to punch through ambiguity and ramp up quickly with limited resources in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with standard sales tools and a demonstrated desire to explore and implement new tools to further streamline the sales process.
- Overall track record of professional and academic success that reflects reliability and competence.
- Willingness to adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all professional interactions.
- Capacity to work within the hybrid schedule, including in-office days on Tuesday through Thursday and remote days on Mondays and Fridays.
