About the role

You will establish and maintain comprehensive departmental forecasting processes with regular versus actuals analysis to ensure financial clarity. You will design, implement, and track key performance indicators across the organization to measure success and drive accountability. You will build scalable financial models and planning frameworks that support rapid business growth and evolving strategic priorities. You will collaborate with department heads to understand business needs and translate them into precise financial requirements and scenarios. You will conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to leadership on financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities. You will develop and maintain financial reporting dashboards for executive leadership that deliver real-time visibility into key metrics. You will drive process improvements and automation in FP&A workflows to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort. You will partner with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives and M&A activities to assess financial impact and integration readiness. You will ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls to maintain accuracy and governance. Partner with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives and potential M&A activities from a financial perspective.

Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and robust internal control frameworks.

Lead the annual and multi-year long-range planning processes to align vision with operational execution.

Design and implement robust financial processes and systems capable of supporting a high-growth startup environment.

Own the Monthly and Quarterly Business Review process delivering deep-dive analysis on Forecast versus Actuals.

Define, track, and socialize critical SaaS and technology metrics such as CAC, LTV, Magic Number, Net Retention, and Burn Multiple.

Act as a strategic CFO partner for departments like Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to manage headcount planning and OpEx.

Prepare high-impact materials for Board of Directors meetings and support future fundraising or M&A activities.

Requirements

You bring 12 or more years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis within demanding environments.

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field; an MBA or CFA is preferred.

You demonstrate strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting across multiple business scenarios.

You have hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle, and BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.

You possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and extract meaningful conclusions.

You communicate exceptionally well, articulating data-driven stories that influence strategic decisions at all levels.

You have a proven track record of building and scaling FP&A functions within fast-growth and ambiguous startup settings.

You have a deep understanding of GAAP accounting and how the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statement interact.
