About the role
You will own the full lifecycle of deploying North, Cohere's AI workspace platform, in private cloud and on-premises environments, acting as the primary technical liaison for enterprise clients. You will translate complex infrastructure requirements into secure, compliant deployment blueprints that meet the stringent needs of finance, healthcare, and telecommunications sectors. You will partner directly with client engineering teams to diagnose constraints and design tailored integration strategies that keep data governance in their control. You will lead high-velocity experimentation while maintaining a strict quality bar to ensure every solution delivered surpasses customer expectations. You will troubleshoot intricate deployment failures in real time, coordinating with internal specialists to restore service and minimize downtime. You will continuously document patterns and playbooks to empower the broader organization with repeatable deployment knowledge. You will mentor client teams on best practices for operating AI infrastructure securely and efficiently. You will represent Cohere as the trusted expert who ensures AI capabilities are production-ready and resilient from day one.

What you'll do
Design and execute end-to-end deployment plans for North across private cloud and on-premises environments, validating configurations against client security policies.
Perform in-depth assessments of existing enterprise infrastructure, identifying networking, storage, and compute requirements with IT stakeholders.
Deploy and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters using Helm, ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational resilience.
Implement and refine CI/CD pipelines that automate provisioning, testing, and rollback for infrastructure changes with zero service disruption.
Conduct rigorous integration testing between North's AI agents and workplace tools, verifying data flows and API contracts in staging and production.
Monitor system performance and reliability metrics, driving proactive optimizations and rapid incident response for critical issues.
Collaborate with security and compliance teams to enforce data privacy standards and audit controls aligned with industry regulations.
Lead proof-of-concept projects that demonstrate secure AI deployment scenarios to accelerate enterprise adoption decisions.
Document deployment procedures and architectural decisions to ensure continuity and clarity for both internal and external audiences.
Act as a hands-on technical partner during client engagements, providing deep troubleshooting and advisory support throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
You have direct experience engaging with customers in a professional services or pre-sales capacity, understanding their needs and constraints.
You have successfully administered production Kubernetes clusters and possess advanced expertise with Helm for managing complex applications.
You have a strong background in deploying enterprise software within private or hybrid cloud environments, navigating complex network and security requirements.
You are proficient in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline design, and version control workflows using tools such as Git.
You have in-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and GCP, along with mastery of networking concepts and virtualization technologies.
You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous situations, delivering high-quality results even when priorities and objectives are in constant flux.
You communicate fluently in Korean and possess business-level proficiency in English for stakeholder discussions and documentation.
You hold a strong passion for building and improving AI systems, aligning your work with the broader mission of enterprise AI adoption.
You are comfortable working asynchronously across distributed teams while maintaining clarity and alignment through documentation.
You respect data privacy and security principles, ensuring all deployment activities adhere to strict compliance standards.
