What you'll do

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of our NetSuite ERP system, focusing on configuration, architecture, and strategic planning for various financial processes including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Procure-to-Pay, Fixed Assets, and Revenue Recognition.
• Develop and implement seamless integrations between upstream systems and the ERP to enhance operational excellence.
• Utilize AI technologies to automate repetitive finance tasks, thereby boosting team productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with SOX regulations, maintain data governance standards, and implement change management controls effectively.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, IT, and Finance teams to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
• Lead system upgrades and continuously monitor performance metrics to guarantee data integrity and security across financial systems.
• Create comprehensive documentation and training resources to empower internal finance users in navigating the systems effectively.
• Analyze existing financial workflows and identify areas for improvement, proposing innovative solutions to enhance overall efficiency.
• Act as a liaison between finance and technology teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and timelines.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the finance operations team.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in finance systems and automation, bringing fresh ideas to the team.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of direct experience in administering and configuring NetSuite ERP systems.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required.
• Extensive knowledge of comprehensive financial workflows, including month-end close processes, consolidation, and core accounting modules.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing automation solutions, particularly using AI or large language model (LLM) technologies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across both technical and non-technical teams.
• Proven track record of thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments, showcasing adaptability and resilience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.

• Familiarity with additional financial software or ERP systems beyond NetSuite.
